| Q: | Will pressure washing hurt my sealer application from last year? |
| A: |
No. However, using low pressure is best (2,000 - 2,500 PSI), or even “hose pressure” will work well. |
| |
| Q: |
What is the best cleaning agent to use for cleaning surface chemicals, oil, or mildew from a PERMA•CRETE® surface. |
A: |
Oil Deposits: Use Orange Power at 100% full strength; rinse with Blue Nitro and water in a 50/50 mixture; then, pressure wash the surface with 2,000 - 2,500 PSI.
Mold Deposits: Use a 50/50 mixture of water and bleach; pour solution onto mold area; let stand for 30 minutes, and rinse surface thoroughly with water.

Q: | What happens when you apply Matrix Mixes outside of their recommended temperature ranges?
| Tropic Set: |
75° to 110°F |
| PermaCrete: |
40° to 75°F |
| Polar Set: |
20° to 50°F |
| Pool Interior: |
40° to 75°F |
|
A: | At the “low” end of the temperature ranges, you'll have more time to work the material before it starts to set. You’ll also see it will take longer to completely dry, leaving it vulnerable to rain, dew, or freezing, which could affect the color or bond adhesion.
At the “high” end of the temperature ranges, it will set quickly and cure very rapidly, but have less pot life. Matrix Retarder or Matrix Accelerator can also be used with regular PermaCrete to shorten or extend pot lifes up to 50% (4 oz. of either per bag), but cannot be used to alter set times in Polar Set or Tropic Set.
