A Deck with a Difference. Chad Hain of Beaver Creek, Ohio, is our
Showcase Winner for August! He transformed
a second story deck into a beautiful oasis in
the trees. Using a tile pattern, Chad hand-
troweled the surface which required considerable
preparation. No doubt the homeowners are now
enjoying Chad’s excellent work and their patio
even more than before. And what’s the difference,
you ask? Well, it’s PermaCrete, of course!
