Many customers ask the question:

"How long is the warranty on a PermaCrete installation?"

It's common for many Dealers to stumble on the answer to this question.

The response, however, is critical. If you've determined that the existing patio, driveway, warehouse floor or other surface you're working on is stable (already stood the test of time - just worn and ugly), you probably should offer the customer a 5-year or even a 10-year limited warranty.

HOWEVER, you should only do so when also selling the customer a nominal, but profitable, maintenance contract.

When you buy a new car, you usually get a 4-year/50,000 mile warranty - great! However, in order to maintain the warranty, you must change the oil regularly and have scheduled maintenance performed as mandated. You pay for those services, they're not free!

The same thing should apply to a PermaCrete installation. Remember, you took a stable but deteriorated driveway, repaired it and made it look great. Most customers will be happy to pay a maintenance fee to keep it looking new year after year. Typically the maintenance fee that most Dealers charge is between $.40 - $.75 per square foot. The maintenance will usually involve pressure washing with Blue Nitro and then applying a single coat of PermaSeal (clear or solid, depending on the original application).

2. Get Paid to Enhance Projects - This is just as important as #1 (maybe more so). Remember, all of your jobs are REFERENCES! If they're looking great, you'll get additional jobs; if they aren't, you won't.
