Stain Sealer Characteristics

Stain Sealer Characteristics of PermaCrete Polymer Modified Cement Surfaces

Product
PermaSeal Stain Sealer is an acrylic resin formulated with special acrylic polymers, chlorinated rubber and epoxy resin designed to work as a complement to the Bonding Additive and Matrix Mix in the three-part system more commonly described as the "PermaCrete Resurfacing System". PermaSeal Stain Sealer is available in over 170 standard as well as other custom-ordered colors.

Features
The function of the acrylic resin PermaSeal Stain Sealer is to provide penetration through the Matrix application thereby strengthening and sealing the Matrix with the various ingredients contained in PermaSeal Stain Sealer during the first application. The second application of PermaSeal Stain Sealer is retained on the Matrix surface and provides a final and complete coating which is resistant to penetration by chemicals normally found on all type surfaces through regular use. These would include oil, carbonated water, diesel fuel and gasoline as well as other chemicals. Additionally, the PermaSeal Stain Sealer provides a dramatic improvement in the beauty and enhancement of the surface appearance with its availability in colors which complement the various surfaces and structures surrounding the PermaCrete application.

Usage
PermaSeal Stain Sealer includes quick evaporating solvents along with aromatic hydrocarbons, acrylic and modified epoxy resins and chlorinated rubber to provide a unique design for maximum durability and flexibility while resisting penetration or damage from most chemicals. Cleaning is easily accomplished with normal household detergents and pressure washing with a regular garden hose power nozzle. This will maintain an attractive appearance as well as eliminate health hazards from the accumulation of foreign materials. Certified slip resistance characteristics in the finished surface are additional benefits which are greatly valued by the end user.

Benefits
Resurfacing with PeramCrete renews instead of removes, enhances property values, and is a cost effective way of addressing the continual problem of existing surface deterioration and ongoing surface maintenance. New surface projects are equally benefited by the strong, durable and attractive finish of lasting protection which is assured from a PermaCrete application.

Coatings
PermaPoxy Enamel is a 100% solids, two-component epoxy enamel containing epoxy resins and cycloaliphatic amine curing agents. PermaThane CRU-750 is a high solids, low component acrylic copolymer and aliphatic polyisocyanate.

Both of these products are separate surface coatings which may be used as the final "sealer" application in the PermaCrete Resurfacing System but are more commonly used as a single, high-performance coating application over new or existing concrete surfaces. See separate chart for the unique chemical resistance properties of these products.
